Cyberpunk 2077 has entered its second phase of life after a year of updates and its next-gen release on PS5 and Xbox Series X. But it’s PC where the game has always shined, even during its rough launch period, and after all these updates, it’s better than ever.
However, what keeps giving the game new life on PC is the modding scene, which has added way more to the game than CDPR ever has, from quality of life features to graphical improvements. I thought I’d go through some of the most popular mods and recommend ten you might want to consider downloading. I think all of these should still be viable with the latest patches, but correct me if I’m mistaken. Here we go:
1. Araska Cyberarms – Cyberware replacement arms for male and female characters. They have many skins to choose from, for all cyberarms.
2. Third Person Mod – A third person mod for Cyberpunk 2077, work continues to be ongoing on improving it.

3. Immersive First Person – Improved body presence and free look. Allows you to look down and see your body and outfit in first person.
4. Autonomous Reshade, True HDR – Finally, True HDR for Cyberpunk 2077! The Autonomous ReShade is steps ahead of the Corpo-Rat agenda.

5. Arasaka Appearance Updater – This Updater can change hairstyle as well as some facial features. While the new update lets you change your hair, you cannot change your face, but this mod can do that.
6. Virtual Atelier – Allows the players to preview clothing items on their characters before purchasing in stores, & preview in-game items models in their inventory.

7. Advanced V Customization – Adding NPC customization and custom work to V one piece at a time.
8. Jinguji Unique Female V Clothes – A collection of custom-edited clothing and shoes. Includes corset tops, Mox heel pants, midi skirts, sandals, and more!

9. Car Customization – Customize the colors and models of your favorite cars and create your own unique garage!
10. Enhanced Police – This mod enables police cars spawns. It’ll take effect automatically when you commit crimes and gain heat. Also reworks the spawns of the cops making them further away depending on the threat level that you’ve acquired.
That should be enough to get you started. These are some of the most popular mods of all time, though I am open to suggestions of which ones may no longer be as good as they used to, or what newer ones players should try. Many of these are really transformative and should add a good amount of value to the game even if you’ve already sunk in a lot of hours.
CDPR has been very modder friendly this entire time, including hiring some of its best modders to come and work for the company, so I would expect even more expansive mods and mod support in the future as part of their long term plans for Cyberpunk. Get started on your own mod journey now.
