Manchester City Esports expands its competitive Fortnite roster, signing European player Skram.
Last year, the renowned football organization launched its Fortnite division and went relatively quiet from a talent acquisition standpoint. Six months after signing NA East standout Aidan “Threats” Mong, Manchester City Esports has officially added another player to its growing roster. Konrad “Skram” Skram is a veteran in the competitive scene with many years of experience behind him. A Danish native–Skram’s documented career began back in 2018.
He has since amassed an impressive track record that’s allowed him to remain atop the intensely volatile, competitive Fortnite scene. Skram’s career under ManCity Esports begins today, and he hopes to bring the organization its first Fortnite Champion Series (FNCS) victory this season.

The organization made its latest acquisition official on Twitter today. ManCity Esports welcomed Skram to the team alongside a compilation of in-game highlights with shots of the players interlaced. The introduction fits the bill–Manchester City is a massive organization with years of legitimacy to its mission. This same sentiment applies to the ManCity Esports Fortnite division, which now possesses two impressive talents from different regions.
Skram commented on the signing in a press release:
“I could not be more excited to be joining Manchester City,” said Konrad. “I have been competing at the top for several years now, but this feels like a chance to take things to the next level.”

Skram’s career history includes an appearance at the Fortnite World Cup, where he finished 45th alongside his then duo partner Mexe. The duo collected $100K USD in earnings and continued playing together. The Danish player experienced a career resurgence at the tail-end of Fortnite Chapter 2 and the beginning of Chapter 3. Skram is an eight-time FNCS Finalist, with a second, ninth, and tenth in recent seasons.
This career comeback is one for the ages, and much of it has occurred with a fellow Danish player – Oscar “Refsgaard” Dalgas Refsgaard. Skram’s upside is immense despite the increasingly challenging European scene. He’s remained atop competitive Fortnite for four years, and joining ManCity Esports is a significant accomplishment.
