Los Angeles Thieves (LAT) (3:00 PM EST) (-1288 LAT)</em></strong><br><em>PAR </em>is currently off to a rough start and one of two teams that are currently winless in the league. Fortunately, for <em>LAT</em> they are starting to pick up momentum and are currently on a three-game winning streak. <em>LAT</em> should triumph <em>PAR</em> in the majority of the gametypes, but search and destroy will be key for both teams, because they’ve been struggling in that specifically (<em>LAT</em>– 1-3, <em>PAR</em>– 1-4). Octane’s performance will be crucial to <em>LAT’s</em> success due to him getting in the most engagements for his team and currently being the only player above a 1 kill-death ratio from both teams (1.14). Therefore, there’s more than likely a chance that he performs well enough in the S&D gametype to help give <em>LAT</em> the edge. All in all, since <em>PAR</em> is 3-8 in respawn gametypes it’ll be difficult to see them getting a strong start here and <em>LAT</em> should be able to close out this series in a win.<br><strong><em>Minnesota ROKKR (MIN) v.s. Atlanta FaZe (ATL) (4:30 PM EST) (-320 ATL)</em></strong><br>The tiny terrors of <em>ATL</em> in Simp/aBeZy are beginning to pick up the pace now which is scary for other teams after their slow start for the season and now face the only other team of three in the league that’s kept their same lineup from last season. This means that the chemistry will be in full effect for both sides and can cause this match to go down to the wire. <em>MIN</em> has been shaky on respawn gametypes with a 3-6 record so far which bodes well for <em>ATL</em>, since they are 6-3 in respawns so far and performing just as well if not better than <em>MIN’s </em>best gametype in search and destroy (<em>ATL</em>– 3-1, <em>MIN</em>– 3-2). Cellium has been <em>ATL’s</em> most valuable player so far this season and one of the best in the league with a 1.62 K/D across all gametypes in the flex/assault rifle role. With aBeZy/Simp likely to continue picking up where they left off last season gradually this will only make Cellium’s contributions even stronger because he won’t have to perform at as high of a performance every single time like he has lately. Although the slaying has been balanced for <em>MIN</em> across the board lately, they’ve gotten into a drought that may be tough to get out of against an <em>ATL</em> squad that’s been undefeated so far at not even at full form.<br><strong><em>OpTic Texas (OTX) v.s. Toronto Ultra (TOR) (6:00 PM EST) (-175 TOR)</em></strong><br><em>OTX</em> were finally able to get a win on the board last week but will now be tested even further against a <em>TOR</em> squad that’s been regaining their footing again and that swept their last two opponents in their series’. Search and destroy will be crucial here for both teams with the records being close (<em>OTX- </em>2-1, <em>TOR</em>– 2-2). The team overall kill-death ratios are quite close in this gametype as well with <em>TOR</em> having the slight edge with a 0.94 K/D compared to <em>OTX’s</em> 0.90. In other words, the objective may end up becoming even more important when this gametype is played. Bance and CleanX of <em>TOR</em> have the highest first-blood rates out of both teams at 15.4% though which could help give them momentum to get the objective done the majority of the map. CleanX may be the one to contribute more of the two with the higher engagements (1.36 compared to Bance’s 1.31). Shotzzy of <em>OTX</em> is the most efficient slayer in S&D on both teams though with a 1.17 K/D which could make things tricky.
