Fractional operator PlaneSense is equipping its entire fleet of Pilatus PC-12 turboprop singles with Gogo Business Aviation’s Avance L3 connectivity and plans to add the system to new PC-12s the company acquires beginning in 2023. So far, PlaneSense has installed Avance L3 on 32 of its 39 PC-12s. The internet connectivity system was previously available only on PlaneSense’s seven Pilatus PC-24 twinjets.
“The Avance L3 is an important addition to the value proposition of the PlaneSense program, especially with its excellent bandwidth performance, and with functionality starting at 3,000 feet,” said PlaneSense president and CEO George Antoniadis. “Clients in our jet program have greatly enjoyed Gogo's L3 connectivity since 2018 and we are thrilled to now offer this benefit to our PC-12 clients.”
Installations are performed by Atlas Aircraft Center, PlaneSense’s maintenance affiliate. The remaining PC-12 Avance installations are expected to be completed in the coming weeks. PlaneSense is also providing a base version of Gogo Vision, which offers a moving map and news clips, with its Avance L3 on the PC-12.
