Get ready to jump into Arkesia.
The Lost Ark release time was originally planned for early on Friday, February 11 but was delayed by several hours due to last-minute technical issues. Chances are you want to know exactly when you can jump into Arkesia. The good news is that you should now be able to run the game, whether you purchased a Founder’s Pack or waited for the free to play launch. The bad news is that the game servers are still offline while Lost Ark addresses issues with missing characters reported by players.
There’s no denying that it’s a looker, and our Lost Ark review should help you decide if there’s enough for you beneath its flashy surface before taking the plunge. Here are the Lost Ark release times and how that translates to each timezone.
Update: Lost Ark’s launch was delayed temporarily due to «deployment issues». The announcement was tweeted on Friday morning, saying that issues should be resolved in a matter of hours. During the delay, Lost Ark announced it would give all players who log in before February 13th three days of Crystalline Aura as a thank you.
As of 2:15pm PT, Lost Ark updated players to say that deployment issues had been resolved. Shortly after, it updated again to say that servers were being taken offline to resolve issues with missing characters reported by players.
At 2:54pm PT, Lost Ark confirmed that no characters were missing and that servers are online.
Additionally, Lost Ark said that its servers will become account locked based on server congestion, which will prevent new players from joining and creating characters on certain servers. If you already have a character, you’ll be able to play them.
We have received your reports that characters are missing, we are taking servers offline to get this resolved. We apologize for the further delay, we’ll provide updates as soon as possible.February 11, 2022
Original: Lost Ark’s «Head Start» access—available if you have the Founder’s Pack—started on February 8. Either way, you can pre-load the 56GB now ahead of the official launch on February 11. Here are the release times for each timezone:

As with any new MMO release, prepare yourself for possible queues and/or trouble connecting to the game. Steam has already run into issues as players rushed to pre-load the game, but fingers crossed that at least some of the initial problems ease by Friday. Just be aware that congestion is likely to peak again going into the weekend.
Sarah’s earliest gaming memories involve playing Jet Set Willy on the ZX Spectrum at a friend’s house. These days, and when not writing guides, most of her spare time goes into MMOs—though she’s quite partial to JRPGs too. She has spent much of the last decade playing the likes of Star Wars: The Old Republic, TERA, Final Fantasy 14, and World of Warcraft. Sarah has been writing about games for several years and, before joining PC Gamer, freelanced for the likes of TechRadar, GamingBible, and Rock Paper Shotgun. One of her fondest hopes is to one day play through the ending of Final Fantasy X without breaking down into a sobbing heap. She probably has more wolves in Valheim than you.
