For the month of April, subscribers of Amazon Prime Gaming will receive eight free games, including a critically acclaimed RPG.
March is coming to a close which means Amazon Prime Gaming has revealed a new set of games for players to download in the month of April. April's Amazon Prime Gaming lineup features some obscure titles, a LucasArts classic, and also offers up one big fan-favorite Bethesda title.
This week, game subscription services have started releasing their lineups for the month of April, and one service, in particular, has made a big announcement. Sony announced significant changes coming to the PS Plus service as it integrates PS Now with PS Plus, offering more games to customers.

Every month, Prime Gaming releases a suite of free video games and multiple in-game goodies for various games, including Valorant, Hearthstone, and Rainbow 6: Siege. Additionally, Prime Gaming members receive a free Twitch sub for use on a streamer of their choice. Prime Gaming is included with every Amazon Prime Membership at $15 a month. This month’s headlining game is The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion, available for free just as Bethesda starts ramping up promotion for Starfield, the company's next big game.
Amazon Prime Gaming’s April Lineup:
The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion is one of Bethesda’s most celebrated works and is widely considered a western RPG classic. Prime Gaming offers the deluxe edition of Oblivion which includes the Knights of the Nine and Shivering Isles expansion packs. Meanwhile, Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville is a shooter take on the classic PopCap mobile game; however, support for the title ended in late 2020. For fans of classic LucasArts games, Monkey Island 2 is considered one of the best from the studio. Amazon Prime Gaming is also offering in-game content for Lost Ark, Overwatch, and Hearthstone. Fans still have a few more days left to claim March’s Prime Gaming offerings, which features Madden NFL 22.
April’s Prime Gaming set of free games is not as extravagant as in previous months. Subscribers in January received Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order, Total War: Warhammer, and World War Z, while later months saw Stellaris and Madden NFL 22. However, fans looking to sink their teeth into a meaty RPG and who have yet to play a Bethesda RPG should look towards picking up this bundle. The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion is sure to take up the time of many players until May's set of Prime Gaming titles drop.
