Publisher Spike Chunsoft has announced that Zero Escape: The Nonary Games is now available on Xbox One and Windows 10. Further, it is currently playable via both Game Pass platform services. For those who wish to purchase the 2-in-1 package, it is $29.99.
This release contains Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors, and Virtue’s Last Reward, both stellar visual novels where players find themselves having to escape, well, escape rooms. Both titles are critically acclaimed for their remarkable narratives, branching story paths, endearing casts, and inventive puzzle design requiring thought-provoking solutions.
Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors is best played first, as characters and elements of its narrative directly tie into the events of Virtue’s Last Reward. Additionally of note is that this release of Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors includes full voice acting in English and Japanese, which was a bonus initially exclusive to the PlayStation 4 release.

The creator of the Zero Escape series is also behind the upcoming AI: The Somnium Files – nirvanA Initiative.
This game shows an event where the right half of a corpse was discovered, but the left half was never found until six years later. However, the body has shown no signs of decay, as though it’s only a day old. New, special agent Mizuki and her AI partner Aiba are tasked to solve the Half Body serial killings. Kotaro Uchikoshi is confirmed to be the Scenario Writer. Hardcore fans can pre-order the game’s Collector’s Edition, which has a bunch of goodies.
AI: The Somnium Files – nirvanA Initiative is releasing for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, and PC on June 24, 2022.
