Microsoft adds five more games to its Xbox Game Pass subscription service across PC and consoles, including three day one titles.
Microsoft adds new games to its Xbox Game Pass service on a regular basis, usually spreading additions out throughout the month. There are some days that get a lot of new Xbox Game Pass games compared to other days, with February 10 standing out as one of the biggest days for the service in 2022 so far with a whopping five games joining the lineup, including three day one titles.
The five new Xbox Game Pass games added as of February 10 are Besiege, CrossfireX, Edge of Eternity, Skul: The Hero Slayer, and The Last Kids on Earth and the Staff of Doom. The latter two are older titles, having previously been available on Xbox. Skul: The Hero Slayer is a 2D action platformer game that should appeal to retro enthusiasts, whereas The Last Kids on Earth and the Staff of Doom is a licensed game with co-op support.

The other three games are day one Xbox Game Pass titles. While Besiege has previously been available on PC, it's just now making its Xbox debut. The same goes for Edge of Eternity; it's a game that was technically available elsewhere before, but it's just now launching on Xbox, and it's doing so as a day one Xbox Game Pass game.
CrossfireX, meanwhile, is perhaps the most interesting new Xbox Game Pass game added today. CrossfireX has a free-to-play multiplayer component, but it also has a paid campaign mode on offer as well, developed by Remedy Entertainment. The campaign is what Xbox Game Pass subscribers can check out today, though early impressions of the game have been overwhelmingly negative.
This is surprising considering Remedy's track record of delivering high-quality single-player experiences, but since it's a day one Xbox Game Pass game, fans can check out CrossfireX for themselves and come to their own conclusions. The game is also notable for being one of the only pure Xbox exclusives, with no PC version available, and so it's unique in that regard as well.
Next week, Xbox Game Pass subscribers can look forward to Ark: Ultimate Survivor Edition and day one game Infernax on February 14. Then PC Game Pass subscribers can check out Total War: Warhammer 3 on February 17. Snowboarding game Shredders is also expected to launch for Game Pass sometime this month, though unsubstantiated leaks have suggested that the game has actually been pushed back to March.
