Village Board Approves Liquor Licenses, Gaming Permits, Employee Salaries – The Okawville Times

The Okawville Village Board approved appropriation ordinances, liquor  licenses and gaming permits, as well as set employee salaries during the regular meeting Monday night.
With the new fiscal year set to begin July 1, the board approved ordinances for General Fund Appropriations (Ordinance No. 591) and WSOM (Ordinance No. 592).
Police and Liquor Committee Chair Sarah Deterding moved to approve liquor licenses for local businesses. The board approved her motion for annual liquor licenses for Circle K, Road Ranger, and Plum Creek Golf Course (RBM), semi-annual licenses for American Legion Post 233 and Christ Brothers Inc, as well as a Class C daily license for Okawville Community Club.
Also per the recommendation of the Police and Liquor Committee, gaming permits at the new rate of $50 per machine per year that was set during the January meeting. 
Six permits each were approved for Road Ranger and Circle K, five for both the American Legion and Original Springs, four for CBI, and three for Plum Creek Golf Course.
