Are X7 en route for a second NLC title?
05/12/2022
provided by X7 Esports X7 Esports have finalized their roster ahead of the summer split.
X7 Esports have signed top laner Kim “Chasy” Dong-hyeon and jungler Mohammed “MC” Chinoune, sources told Upcomer on Thursday.
Those changes will complete their roster, as mid laner Kang “Tempt” Myung-gu and support Raymond “Kasing” Tsang will remain on the roster. As previously reported by Upcomer, bot laner Amadeu “Attila” Dias de Carvalho has also signed with the team after reaching an agreement with them.
Chasy will replace top laner Lennart “Jaeger” Warkus, who is reportedly heading to FC Schalke 04 Esports. Meanwhile, MC will replace Kang “Haru” Min-seung who is heading into the League of Legends European Championship. He will play for Team Vitality, as reported by Upcomer.
Top laner Chasy joins X7 from South-Korea, where he played with DWG KIA Challengers. While only finishing ninth place with his team, Chasy did have impressive stats during the spring split.
Meanwhile MC, formerly known as Afflict, is no new face to the Northern League of Legends Championship. MC played for Riddle Esports last split, who finished fourth place in the NLC Spring Playoffs of 2022.
X7 Esports are now the defending champions of the the NLC, as they won the spring final against Bifrost with a score of 3-0. They also managed to reach quarterfinals at the European Masters.
Grew as a sheep on Twitter for sharing exclusive league offseason information. I now also report news for Upcomer.
