Fortnite players are encountering a strange error that’s kicking them out of the game, so here’s how you can fix the ‘Profile Query Failed’ error on Xbox consoles and PC.

There is plenty of fun content to explore when you hop into a game of Fortnite, but a strange bug is preventing players from doing so. Many fans are reporting that they are unable to play because of an error message.
The “Profile Query Failed” error kicks players out of the game and sends them back to the login screen. This can be frustrating, but there are a few different methods to get around this problem.
The “Profile Query Failed” is mainly caused by server changes that prevent you from logging in to your Fortnite account. Once this happens, you won’t be able to join other players in an online match.
If you try quitting the game and then loading it up again, you’ll find yourself stuck on the loading screen. This issue is prevalent among PC and Xbox Fortnite players. Luckily, you can try to fix it in a few different ways.
You’ll need to install the latest Fortnite update from Epic in order to fix the “Profile Query Failed” error. You can get this done by accessing the Epic Games Launcher on your PC and selecting the update from there.
Here’s what you need to do:
Once this is done, Epic Games will download and install the latest update if has arrived. This is how you can download Fortnite updates on PC, but console players will have to try a different method.
Here’s how to download Fortnite updates on Xbox:
After that, the update will be in the queue, and you’ll have to wait a while for it to finish installing on your console.
Having your Google account linked to Epic Games lets PC and PlayStation players log in to the game with great ease. However, this doesn’t always work on Xbox and it affects the cross-play functionality on that console.
You can unlink your other account from Epic by going to your account settings page on the Epic Games Launcher. Once that’s done, you can try logging in again to see if the problem resolved itself.

Fortnite Chapter 3’s Season 1 Battle Pass offers 100 Tiers of exciting cosmetics, but getting through every level takes time and dedication. Luckily, we’ve got some top tips to help you level up fast in Fortnite Chapter 3.

Fortnite Chapter 3’s first Battle Pass features the highly-anticipated Spider-Man skins as well as some unique offerings such as Shanta and the upcoming The Foundation Dwayne Jonhson skin
You’ll need to hit at least level 100 if you want to unlock all of these skins and cosmetics, but it’ll take more than a few games to complete the Battle Pass. If you’re worried you won’t finish ahead of Season 2 or just want the skins as soon as possible, we have the fastest ways to level up in Fortnite Chapter 3.
Fortnite offers players Weekly and Daily Challenges to complete that offer a ton of Bonus XP.
The Weekly Quests will task you with completing objectives such as finding telescope parts and knocking down Timber Pines, and you’ll earn 25,000 XP for each.
The Daily Quests are much simpler, but not to be sniffed at. There will be three a day, and you’ll earn over 15,000 XP for each. This means that you can earn around 45,000 XP a day just for completing simple objectives such as opening chests in different locations.
Milestones have returned in Fortnite Chapter 3, allowing players to earn XP for completing simple actions such as opening Chests and Ammo Boxes, catching fish, and feeding Klomberries to Klombos.
Most of these objectives will be completed naturally as you play, but check out the Quests Page to see all of your Milestones.
You’ll earn 8,000 XP for each completed Milestone, and another 20,000 XP for each ten. If you’re looking to level up quickly, make sure you’re checking off these Milestones as you play.
Jumping into Fortnite’s Creative Mode is always a great way to earn XP fast, as you’ll earn a huge chunk of XP every 15 minutes – no matter what you’re doing.
Players will earn 12,000 XP for every 15 minutes they spend in Creative Playlists, and it can be claimed up to five times. While you could earn XP by sitting idle, it’s worth looking out for the XP marker beside a Creative experience, as this means you’ll also earn XP as you play.
One of the best ways to level up fast in Fortnite is simply winning matches. This won’t be easy for everyone, but consistently playing well will allow you to fly through the levels.
You’ll earn XP for eliminating players and surviving each Storm Circle, and then if you can pull off a Victory Royale, you’ll get a bonus 300 XP.

Exotic weapons are some of the most powerful weapons that can help you secure a Victory Royale, so here’s where you can find each of these rare items in Fortnite Chapter 3.

There is a wide selection of weapons to choose from in Fortnite, with the most powerful one being Exotic weapons. These first appeared in Chapter 2, Season 5, and they’re the rarest items in the game.
With all the brand-new changes in Chapter 3, it was unclear if Exotic weapons would still be available in the game. Fortunately, they’re still around, but their locations on the map have changed.
Here are all the Fortnite Chapter 3 Exotic weapon locations.
So far, there are only four Exotic weapons available in Fortnite Chapter 3, but more might arrive as the season progresses. You can purchase these from NPCs for the right amount of Gold Bars.
All of these Exotic weapons have distinct attributes and using them can help you secure a Victory Royale. We’ll go over their locations on the map, along with the costs, and NPCs that you need to visit.
The gun is similar to the Heavy Sniper Rifle, with the biggest difference being that your targets will take 10 contact damage from the clinger, and then the projectile will explode and deal 60 bonus damage to them.
You can get this Exotic Weapon from The Scientist NPC in exchange for 600 Gold Bars. You can find this character roaming around The Sanctuary so head over there to get the Boom Sniper Rifle.
This Exotic, double-barreled beauty can dish out some serious damage to your opponents, and you can purchase it from Bunker Jonesy. This character is located near a trailer at the south side of The Joneses.
Purchasing this Exotic shotgun will cost you 600 Gold Bars. While the weapon has low range and a small magazine, it’s capable of annihilating your enemies in close combat, so it’s worth getting.
The Chili Chug Splashes can be purchased from Guaco for 210 Gold Bars at Greasy Grove or collected from inside Loot Llamas. This Exotic Weapon can greatly benefit you and your teammates.
Hold down the fire button to aim where you want to throw it, and it will break open splashing nearby players. In addition to healing your teammates, it will also give them the ability to move faster.
You can get your hands on the Marksman Six Shooter by purchasing it from the NPC Mancake for 400 Gold Bars. You can find this character inside the Butter Barn, southwest of Rocky Reels.
This “fast-firing sidearm” can dish out 24 damage-per-shot with a magazine size of six. While it doesn’t hold many bullets, the reload time of 2.1 seconds makes ensures that you have a more consistent fire rate.
