When WB Games Montreal announced that they were developing Gotham Knights, there was an immediate interest regarding its availability on Steam. Despite that, months would pass before any information was released. This caused me & numerous others to question the development schedule for Gotham Knights. However, it’s been confirmed that this game is releasing on October 25th of this year. But that hasn’t stopped me from questing the PC version of Gotham Knights, as Steam hasn’t identified the same release date of October 25th, 2022.
October 25th isn’t listed on Gotham Knight’s steam page, suggesting that delays could be announced following the development schedule. This wouldn’t surprise me, considering that Gotham Knights is launching for the Xbox Series X/S, PS4, and PS5. WB Games Montreal is struggling to perfect each version of their upcoming game. But be ensured, this title will eventually launch onto Steam.
WB Games Montreal won’t rush the PC version of Gotham Knights. Instead, they’ll focus on developing the best experience possible. That means there’s a good chance of temporary delays being announced for this game. But how long will the delay last? That’s the real question. Based on WB Games Montreal’s schedule, I’m estimating anywhere from six to twelve months. That means the latest we’ll be waiting for Gotham Knights on Steam is October 25th, 2023.
I want to mention that this is a worst-case scenario. There’s also a good chance that WB Games Montreal will launch Gotham Knights onto Steam by November or December 2022, meaning we wouldn’t have a delay that exceeds the past three months. This would ensure that gameplay spoilers & storyline details wouldn’t be revealed to PC gamers. Now, doesn’t that sound reasonable? Haha.
Unfortunately, I’m not expecting Gotham Knights to maintain an assortment of features exclusive to PC players. Instead, the standard features found between all versions of this game will be available through Steam. But that doesn’t mean you need to lose hope, as there will be dedicated players that develop gameplay mods for Gotham Knights.
The introduction of mods should advance the gameplay in Gotham Knights, as modders will incorporate features found within the Arkham Knight and Suicide Squad franchises. In return, the overall lifespan for the PC version of Gotham Knights should be longer than its console counterpart.

Here’s where things start getting exciting because Gotham Knights will be playable on the Steam Deck. The requirements involved to operate this upcoming game are identical to Elden Ring, which is also supported on the Steam Deck. This means we’ll be capable of having a mobile experience with famous heroes like Robin, Nightwing, Red Hood, and Batgirl.
Honestly, I couldn’t think of a better way to experience this upcoming game. I’ll be able to show what this game is all about to anyone in my life, and I’m hoping you’ll do the same. This game deserves the support that Batman: Arkham Origins had received in 2013.
WB Games Montreal has shown off Gotham Knights on three occasions. We’ve received an announcement trailer, storyline trailer, and gameplay trailer. This has allowed us to witness twenty minutes of official footage, and everything seems fantastic. I’m confident that we’ll acquire a better gameplay experience than what was found with Arkham Knight. Of course, personal sentiments could always be wrong. Either way, you should feel something similar after seeing the boss fight against Mr Freeze in Gotham Knights.
Don’t worry; there shouldn’t be any problems with you installing Gotham Knights onto your PC. The components needed to operate this game aren’t overwhelming, and anyone needing to upgrade can easily acquire second-hand GPUs or CPUs for cheap. This should mean anyone wanting to play Gotham Knights can do so without difficulty. Either way, you’ll find the complete requirements needed to play this upcoming game below.
