As a part of the acquisition, Generation Esports continues its commitment to supporting any, and all, organizations using video games to support their communities. At the core of MGL's mission is providing military families with a safe place to game together and support one another through esports, while shining a spotlight on military players. MGL kicks off its biggest event yet this summer with Season Zero featuring Valorant, Call of Duty: Cold War, Super Smash Brothers Ultimate, and Rocket League. Competition begins Memorial Day weekend on May 27, with registration open to all active duty, reserve, veteran, and National Guard service members. The competition will follow a five-week format that culminates in a playoff and championship July 1 – 3, to crown champions for each title and win one of the coveted MGL Challenge Coins.
