Moving iMage Technologies Inc. shares were up 33% to $1.53 following announcements related to a gaming and esports partnership and movie theater accessibility products.
The digital cinema technology company said Thursday that a partnership with SNDBX marks an expansion into esports and competitive, amateur gaming leagues. Its technology will «allow SNDBX to quickly deploy competitive e-Sports technology in support of its cinema strategy,» Moving iMage said.
On Friday, Moving iMage said it is acquiring QSC LLC’s USL accessibility products, which include infrared-based assistive listening and closed caption devices for moviegoers.
