Alongside a recent leak revealing a few classic games coming to PlayStation Plus Premium, another lot of older titles have been found online.
PlayStation Plus Premium is the highest tier in Sony's upcoming subscription service. Replacing PlayStation Now, PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium will give users access to a vast catalog of previous PlayStation exclusives, ranging from older consoles like the PS3, PS2, PSP, and original PlayStation. For many, this is PlayStation's first real attempt to give players backwards compatibility in a meaningful way, as when PlayStation Plus Premium launches users will have streaming access to hundreds of older titles.
Already, some of the upcoming titles have been allegedly leaked online. On April 28 it was reported that a few classic PS1 titles would be making their way to PlayStation Plus Premium, including Tekken 2 and Mr. Driller. As well as these two, Ridge Racer for PSP was said to be joining the subscription service. All of these titles come from publisher Bandai Namco, and to many were a sign that more leaks were to come. Now, just a day later, more titles are being said to be available on PlayStation Plus Premium.

Two more games have been leaked for PlayStation Plus' Premium tier, developed by Team 17. The games are Worms Armageddon and Worms World Party. Worms World Party is a 2001 game that features the traditional 2D gameplay fans would expect out of the wacky Worms franchise. It received a remaster back in 2015, so it could be the case that the PlayStation Plus version of the game borrows more of the remaster than the older title.
Worms Armageddon also features the Worms familiar formula in both style and gameplay. It has proven to be one of the franchise's most popular entries, and Armageddon's code was even used as a basis for 2016's Worms W.M.D. In 2020, the game received an official update, marking 25 years since the beginning of the Worms franchise and 21 years since Worms Armageddon's release date. Neither of these Worms titles have been confirmed to officially be available on PlayStation Plus Premium so far.
This news follows reports that alongside the hundreds of PS4, PS5, and classic titles that will be available on the new PlayStation Plus, the subscription service will also include game trials, enforced by Sony. Any new game that releases for $34.99 or more will have to include a demo that lasts for at least two hours, giving players a chance to try out a title before they make the jump of purchasing it. Returning to the PlayStation Plus leaks, both the Bandai Namco and Worms titles are likely just the first of many games that will be unveiled before the official launch date of PS Plus Premium.
