Competitive League of Legends in Europe has wrapped up the first part of the 2022 season when it comes to the ladder play and the Spring Split playoffs are the next step. Soon after the last match between Rogue and G2, the playoff brackets were announced, revealing a potential double banger.
Rogue won the regular season so they got to pick their first opponent between G2 and Misfits. The team chose the latter, which resulted in an old rivalry unfolding in the very beginning of the tournament.

By choosing not to play vs G2 in the first round, Rogue opened up what could possibly be a double duel between G2 and Fnatic during the playoffs, which is always a treat for the fans.
For this to occur, whoever loses the first-round match between the two, would have to go all the way to the finals through the lower bracket, while the winner reaches finals through the upper bracket.
