CrossFire X is only two days away!

CrossFire X will be making its debut on consoles with an imminent launch on Xbox, but can you play it on PS4 or PS5 anytime soon?
CrossFire is one of the biggest and highest-grossing video game series in the world, popular in Eastern Asian countries such as China and South Korea.
The series will be making a bold move towards the western market for the first time ever with CrossFire X. The new flagship entry of the franchise is based on a joint effort from Smilegate, the original developer of CrossFire, and Remedy Entertainment, the talented team behind Alan Wake and Control.
The former leads the multiplayer section of the game, while the latter has taken the helm for the story-driven single-player campaign.
CrossFire X was originally announced for the Xbox consoles, which made PlayStation and PC players wonder whether they would ever be able to play the game on their platforms or not.
Unfortunately, CrossFire X will not be available on PC, PS4, or PS5. However, PC players can already access the original CrossFire through this page, which is a free-to-play multiplayer shooter much like the Counter-Strike series.
For PlayStation players, neither of the CrossFire entries are available at the moment. However, if CrossFire X performs well on the Xbox consoles, we might be able to be optimistic about the game’s launch on PlayStation consoles, which have even a bigger community than that of Xbox at the moment.
CrossFire X will be available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S on February 10. While the multiplayer section of the game will be free-to-play, the story-driven campaign is a paid product.
Xbox Game Pass subscribers on consoles will receive free access to the first part of the campaign mode in CrossFire X.
