Berlin International Gaming (BIG) (7:30 AM EST) (-308 PLY)
PLY were upset in their previous matchup 2-1 against a lesser ranked opponent and will now face off with a BIG team who is higher ranked which could result in a close match yet again. Fortunately, for PLY they have swept the BIG team before the last time these teams met up 2-0. The most dominant player in that matchup with sh1ro with a +17 kill-death differential as PLY’s main sniper and is likely to cause havoc yet again, especially coming off a +26 kill-death differential game despite his team’s loss last game. No one had a positive kill-death differential for BIG in that previous matchup which could be a potential problem heading into this match. The best hope for BIG will be in tabseN to perform really well due to having the most damage per round (88.9) out of both teams. However, tabseN was the third least efficient slayer in the previous match so there’s a chance he may get slowed down as well. On the other hand, PLY does have two players dealing damage within that range (sh1ro included) so if tabseN does get slowed down, PLY should be able to rebound and prevent BIG from getting revenge here.
Movistar Riders (MR) v.s. Team Liquid (TL) (11:00 AM EST) (-203 TL)
MR was able to pull off the upset against a tough opponent in their last game and now face another tough opponent but lesser ranked in TL. MR are also the hottest streaking team on the slate at five games in a row so far. The main sniper of TL in oSee can potentially give MR trouble here though due to being more consistent with a 1.54 compared to MR’s main sniper in SunPayus. Once oSee was able to perform well (as shown in the last matchup) it made executing well for his teammates easier, and they all have positive kill-death differentials as a result. The fact that EliGE has been able to maintain his extremely high damage per round at 96.6 should be a concern for MR as well. No one is anywhere close to that range in slaying on MR which should make battles even more difficult for them. That being said with oSee likely to get his way with the sniper in duels again this game it would be hard to see TL lose this one and put an end to MR’s streak.
Party Astronauts (ASTRO) v.s. GODSENT (GDSNT) (2:30 PM EST) (-280 GDSNT)
Both teams in this match are entering off of losing droughts with GDSNT losing four games in a row while ASTRO has lost three. As of late the win-rate has been in favor of ASTRO at 82.1% compared to GDSNT’s 22.2%. Also, GDSNT’s most efficient slayer in dumau (1.11 K/D) has begun to regress slightly in his last match which could put GDSNT in a hole early in this matchup if he’s unable to rebound. This also gives the main sniper in PwnAlone a chance to finally rebound after three straight games previously of negative kill-death differential games. PwnAlone is the most efficient slayer out of both teams with a 1.19 K/D and 74 damage per round as ASTRO’s sniper/anchor. In addition, the opposing sniper in HEN1 is one of the least efficient slayers for his team and a 0.85 which makes the chances for PwnAlone to perform well even more. Even though this match has a chance to stay close due to the slaying not being as strong for either team ASTRO should have enough edge here to prevail.
DraftKings CS:GO Esports DFS Rundown (ESL Pro) – March 23, 2022 Players (PLY) v.s.
