North American esports holding company GameSquare Esports, the owners of Complexity Gaming, has secured an agreement with NFT platform ARterra.
As a result, Complexity and ARterra will collaborate on the platform’s official launch. Moreover, ARterra has been named the official NFT marketplace of Complexity Gaming as well as the organisation’s exclusive NFT platform.

ARterra is a new NFT company focused on creating experiences for esports teams, organisations and gaming companies. Although the ARterra marketplace still isn’t available, the startup received its first round of funding last year. One of ARterra’s early investors was the Complexity Gaming Founder Jason Lake.
Justin Kenna, CEO of GameSquare, stated: “NFTs are an incredible technology, and we are excited to have named ARterra as the Official NFT Marketplace of Complexity and our Exclusive NFT Platform. I have been incredibly impressed with ARterra and we are thrilled to be partnering with a leader in the NFT industry as it launches one of the most exciting NFT platforms and marketplaces serving esports and gaming. “
According to a release, ARterra and Complexity will work together to build engagement strategies and educate fans about the NFT market.

Esports Insider says: Another NFT partnership for a known esports organisation. Complexity will work together with ARterra to bolster the launch of its NFT platform. Complexity NFT’s are expected to follow in the coming months, considering ARterra is a company focused on producing NFT experiences for brands.

NEW DELHI: Head Digital Works’ online gaming platform A23 that runs rummy and fantasy sports will be the associate title sponsor of the upcoming Prime Volleyball League 2022. It is a fast-growing franchise-led sporting league and will kickoff on  5 February 2022 and is returning after a two-year break.
The league will be held in Hyderabad, and will feature seven franchises from seven different cities ? Calicut Heroes, Kochi Blue Spikers, Ahmedabad Defenders, Hyderabad Black Hawks, Chennai Blitz, Bengaluru Torpedoes, and Kolkata Thunderbolts. The finale will be held on 27 February 2022.

You will end up seeing a lot of Hisuian Sneasel and its evolved form Sneasler as the latter is one of the Pokémon that helps you traverse the varied landscapes of the Hisui region. You won’t be running into any Johtonian Sneasel in the wild unless you go out of your way to find them, though.
This is because that form of Sneasel isn’t native to Hisui and can only be encountered in a space-time distortion, a type of event that takes place on the map that can spawn rare items and exclusive Pokémon you won’t find anywhere else.

For Johtonian Sneasel, you will only be able to encounter it in space-time distortions you enter when traveling in the Obsidian Fieldlands. You can also find Weavile, but that is a much rarer encounter. 
If you don’t manage to find a Weavile, you can simply use a Razor Claw on your Johtonian Sneasel at night to trigger its evolution.

The mobile gaming scene is likely to get more games in 2022 that were also made for PC and console, TouchArcade editor-in-chief Jared Nelson tells Axios.
Why it matters: Mobile is already the biggest sector in gaming, but what constitutes a mobile game is rapidly changing.
Between the lines: Mobile’s crossover games can be ports (new versions of old PC/console games) or multiplatform (launching at or close to the same time on console/PC and mobile).
State of play: One of the biggest games in the world, Genshin Impact, runs on mobile and console.
The big picture: The mobile gaming market generated $93.2 billion last year and comprised 52% of the industry, according to industry tracker Newzoo
The bottom line: A lot of attention is paid to the growing size of the mobile gaming scene, but Nelson emphasizes that the quality of mobile gaming is also on the rise.
A record number of advertising and marketing technology companies went public last year, according to a new report from LUMA Partners, a leading media and marketing investment firm. Deal volume among ad tech, marketing tech and digital media companies soared 82% year-over-year.
