Users of the Nvidia GeForce Now game streaming service can now play games at 4K resolution at up to 60 fps on Windows and macOS. You need to fork out US$20 per month for GeForce Now’s RTX 3080 tier subscription to be able to enjoy the new 4K/60 fps streams.
Previously, the only way you could run games at 4K/60fps on GeForce Now was through the Nvidia Shield TV and users of GeForce Now on PCs and Macs could only do 1440p 120 fps on Windows and 1600p 120 fps on macOS when subscribing to the RTX 3080 tier.
Nvidia also announced through a blog post that the company will be adding 27 games to the service in May. The first ten games that you can play now include Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and Star Wars Battlefront II.
Finally, Nvidia has also announced support for more 120 Hz-capable smartphones. If you have a supported phone and an RTX 3080 GeForce Now subscription, you can play games from your Steam and Epic library at up to 120 fps.
