Elden Ring has sold quite a lot of copies and some new details about Starfield were revealed.
Lots of cool stories to bring to you today, including the sales figures for the first few weeks of Elden Ring’s release – spoilers, they’re really good. We also got some more information about Starfield as well as a potential release date for Uncharted: Legacy Of Thieves on PC, as Steam looks to have made a whoopsie. Read on to find out more.
Elden Ring has been dominating social media since release and, considering that it’s three weeks old at the time of writing, that’s pretty impressive. What’s more impressive though is the game’s sales figures, as Elden Ring has surpassed 12 million sales, making it the fastest-selling game from a Japanese publisher outside of Nintendo. Putting that into more perspective, it took Dark Souls 3 four years to reach the same sales. Well done FromSoftware!

We got a little bit more information about Starfield today, and while it’s not the full-blown trailer people were hoping for, it still gives us valuable insight into how the game will work. For starters, designers at Bethesda revealed that conversation in Starfield will take inspiration from Oblivion’s persuasion mechanics. They also revealed that players will be meet a massive robot companion and that you can team up with space pirates but immediately betray them if you like.
Some bad news for those currently piggybacking off of their friend’s Netflix account as the company may start charging for it soon. Netflix is rolling out a new test in Chile, Costa Rica, and Peru that will have users pay a small fee to add an extra member to their account that lives outside their household. It’s not being implemented worldwide just yet, but if Netflix sees the feature bring in enough cash to justify it, you can expect it to start being used in larger territories like the US or UK.
A bunch of release dates for games coming to Steam have seemingly leaked, the biggest of them being the PC launch of Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves. These dates were found thanks to time stamps in Steam APIs and could possibly be either concrete release dates or release windows. According to these time stamps, Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves is going to release on Steam on July 15. It’s not a confirmed date as these dates are subject to change, but it might give us a rough idea of when the game will hit PC.
Finally, the Xbox ID showcase was today which gave us a look at some unique and interesting indie titles releasing over the next year. One of the highlights of the show was WrestleQuest, a turn-based RPG that has players fighting their way to becoming wrestling legends. We also learned during the showcase that Devolver’s side scrolling samurai title Trek To Yomi will be launching on Xbox Game Pass at some point this Spring.
