February 16, 2022 (Seoul) – Global esports organization T1 Entertainment & Sports announced HP OMEN as its new PC gaming partner today. Through the partnership, T1’s League of Legends (LoL) team Choi ‘Zeus’ Woo-je, Mun ‘Oner’ Hyeon-jun, Lee ‘Faker’ Sang-hyeok, Lee ‘Gumayusi’ Min-hyung, Ryu ‘Keria’ Min-seok and Kim ‘Asper’ Tae-ki will promote HP OMEN’s new brand campaign ‘OMEN Rule.’
The new campaign focuses on the idea that all players start from the same place in the gaming world regardless of their background in the physical world in terms of status, education and appearance. The campaign will define the five “privileges” and how the T1 players have overcome them with their skills.
Along with the announcement of the partnership, the first video features ‘Faker’ as he talks about defeating ‘unfairness’ in the gaming world and emphasizes the support of fair competition in gaming.
Lee ‘Faker’ Sang-hyeok said, «It’s quite meaningful to be a part of the ‘OMEN Rule’ campaign and hopefully our fans everywhere will be able to grasp that only skills matter when it comes to gaming.”
