The HyperX Cloud II Wireless gaming headset has dropped to $99.99 at Amazon. That’s the lowest price we’ve ever seen on the Cloud II Wireless, and this is the first time it has dropped this low. The headset normally sells for around $150, and even when it goes on sale at other retailers it only drops as low as $120. You can find it going for that price through the HyperX store right now. The Amazon price did disappear briefly there for a second, so this deal might be on the verge of expiring. Grab it while you can.
This is a really great price that’s hard to beat, and it’s an all-new low for the well-reviewed headset. Get virtual surround sound, a battery life that lasts for up to 30 hours, 53mm drivers for powerful and immersive sound, and more.
Read our review of the HyperX Cloud II Wireless where Daniel Rubino gave it 4.5 stars out of 5 and a The Best badge. He said, «There are no dealbreakers for my usage (although Xbox support would be ideal), and these are easy to recommend. Plus, HyperX (Kingston) also has a solid reputation for customer service.»
Despite no Xbox support, the headset does work with your Windows computer. You can also use it with the PlayStation 4 & 5 and the Nintendo Switch, but you’ll get the most functionality out of it on PC. Using it on a console requires using the optional wired ability, which removes features like the surround sound and some controls.
On PC with the 2.4GHz USB dongle, you can toggle 7.1 surround sound. This gives you positional audio, which is important if you’re playing video games. The 53mm drivers also deliver powerful, immersive audio that sounds great whether you’re gaming or binging Netflix.
Since the headset is wireless, battery life is important. Lucky for you this one can last for up to 30 hours on a single charge. That means it’s not going to cut out on you in the middle of a team fight. Plus, the headset has a detachable mic with an LED mute indicator, giving you the ability to use or not use the mic as you see fit.
