Naos Esports hasn’t dropped a single map so far in the VCT 2022 Challengers PH following another 2-0 sweep victory, this time against Zeal Esports in the Group B action on Saturday, Feb. 12.

Naos was clutch in the extension in the second game to fend off a gutsy Zeal Esports which climbed back from 10-4 down to force the overtime.
Jeeelicious on the Astra came up huge in Game 2 in Ascent with a game-high 26 kills as he anchored the attacking side with an 8-4 tally in the first half. Zeal Esports, though, refused to go down without a fight as Firesaiyajin-led rally allowed it to tie the game, 11-all to force an extra round.
However, Kakarot on the Kay/o and JEEElicious had other plans in mind as Naos secured the last two rounds to close out the series in a 13-11 thriller.

It was a fitting end for Naos which started the match with guns ablaze, unleashing a dominant 10-2 first half in the first map in Haven.
Zeal tried to regain foothold by taking the first four rounds after the switch but Naos put up a 3-1 counter led by KVZX, who finished with 24 kills on the Sova, to draw the series’ first blood.

Naos now sits atop the Group B standings with a 2-0 record and still has the opportunity to create more separation from the rest of the pack when it battles Looking for Org on Feb. 17.
Zeal Esports, on the other hand, fell to a 1-1 win-loss slate and will get the chance to improve it when it takes on Looking for Org later in the day.
