According to one leaker, game giant Ubisoft will have at least one major announcement this year, alongside a possible 20 games ready to go as well.
Ubisoft is one of the major names in gaming publishing today, with multiple successful franchises consistently producing new entries. From Assassin's Creed to Far Cry, Ubisoft has created some of the most recognizable franchises in modern gaming. However, the company has been met with criticism over the years regarding the monotonous tone of its open worlds. Following the release of Elden Ring, these flaws with Ubisoft's open-world formula became clearer.
Despite the criticism regarding Ubisoft's open-world mechanics, the game publisher still looks to create new AAA titles every year for fans to enjoy. There's also the DLC for Ubisoft's major titles, such as Assassin's Creed: Valhalla's recent expansion called Dawn of Ragnarok. With new games and DLCs often being announced by Ubisoft, many gamers keep a keen eye on the company to see what it will be publishing next. According to one leaker, Ubisoft currently has plenty of titles lined up for the coming months and years.

Tom Henderson is seen as a fairly reliable leaker in the videogame industry. According to him, Ubisoft has around 20 games lined up and ready for some kind of announcement in the near future. This includes one major announcement, which Henderson believes will happen during a huge showcase event that Ubisoft has in the works. In the list of 20 games are some interesting reveals, like a sequel to the open-world adventure game Immortals Fenyx Rising and a new Prince of Persia title.
Some of the games Henderson believes are ready for an announcement are already known to the gaming community though, such as Beyond Good and Evil 2 and Assassin's Creed Infinity. Henderson also mentions the rumored Assassin's Creed Rift, which was allegedly leaked last month. Though, Ubisoft have yet to make any official statement or confirmation of the existence of Assassin's Creed Rift. With so many games lined up in the coming years, it seems there will be a new Ubisoft title to suit the needs of almost any gamer.
With 2022's E3 again being a digital event rather than a physical one, a lot of eyes are on the bigger publishers to reveal their own games in their own shows. If Henderson's leak is even mostly correct, Ubisoft's showcase could fill the gap left by one of the most anticipated gaming events, leaving other big publishers to come up with an equally impressive showcase.
