A new patch is now live on PC and Android devices!
By Kyle Knight
A brand new Fortnite update was deployed earlier today (January 21), exclusively for PC and Android devices with an important bug fix.
It was less than 24 hours ago that a new patch was deployed for PlayStation, Xbox, and Android devices. Unfortunately, as users likely discovered yesterday, the patch didn’t include any new content to get excited about.
Instead, yesterday’s update was deployed to fix the color blind settings issue that cropped up a few days prior. This issue was already fixed on PC, which means today’s update has been deployed for a different reason. Here are all of the details and patch notes surrounding the January 21 Fortnite update.
According to the official Fortnite Status Twitter account, today’s new patch is exclusively available for PC and Android devices and comes in at around 200MB, but size may vary slightly. The update aims to fix the following issue:
This issue first appeared on January 20th as some Fortnite players began reporting that they were not able to use the Support-A-Creator feature when in the pre-game lobby of certain creative islands. Unfortunately, this issue may still be appearing for those on other platforms as Epic Games have stated that they will let users know when the issue is resolved on other platforms.
This issue is now resolved for players on PC and Android with the latest maintenance patch!

There doesn’t appear to be any other fixes or changes included in today’s update, but it was less than a week ago that fans were treated to the v19.10 update. The first major content update of the year saw the return of Tilted Towers and the addition of Klombos around the island.
