The sixth round of the eSports WRC Championship presents an all-new challenge for competitors with a maiden trip to Croatia from 15-18 April.
For the first time in its history, the eSports WRC Championship touches down in the Croatian capital Zagreb for two stages of action across varying asphalt conditions.
All eyes will undoubtedly be on two players: Sami-Joe and Kazunokota. The 2020 world champion Sami-Joe has taken victory in the past two rounds and is now just one point behind 2022’s surprise rookie sensation, Kazunokota. The unheralded Japanese driver has recorded two victories to date and is yet to finish outside of a podium spot through the first five rounds.
The 2021 world champion, Nexl, needs to collect a big score in Croatia. The Frenchman had an uncharacteristically poor showing in the previous round in Belgium, finishing down in 11th spot. His third position in the overall standings is now in serious threat from his Race Clutch team-mate Izamusing, who is just one point behind him.
Action in Croatia starts on the 7.09km Rude test in clear conditions at night, followed by a challenging 20.02km blast through Kostanjevac in reverse. Car set-up will be crucial on this longer test, with some rain forecast.
Competition is open to all gamers on WRC 10, the official game of the FIA World Rally Championship.
