Chinese GPU maker Colorful entered the laptop market last year with very affordable gaming models powered by intel Comet Lake-H processors, and now the company is upping the ante adding Alder Lake upgrades plus more powerful RTX 3050 Ti dGPUs, without substantially raising the price tag.
The new COLORFUL X15 XS gaming laptops come with a choice between the Intel Core i5-12500H and i7-12700H processors that can be coupled with 16 GB of DDR4-3200 RAM, as well as an 512 GB NVMe SSD. Nvidia’s RTX 3050 Ti dGPU is complemented by a 15.6-inch FHD display with 144 Hz refresh rate and support for NVIDIA G-SYNC Ultimate and Adaptive-Sync technology. There is, however, a trade-off in that the screen color gamut is limited to 45% NTSC.
