Chuwi announced the new RZBOX with even faster CPU.
The company has updated its RZBOX mini-PC with Ryzen 7 5800H. This processor is 8-core and 16-thread SKU with a boost clock up to 4.4 GHz. It ships with GFX9 (Vega) graphics with 8 Compute Units (512 Stream Processors) boosting up to 2.0 GHz.
More importantly, Ryzen 7 5800H makes use of the Zen3 architecture, which is an upgrade over Ryzen 9 4900H/Zen2-powered RZBOX released last year. Chuwi claims that the new RZBOX is up to 18% faster in Cinebench R23 single-core test than Ryzen 7 4800H and 15% over 4900H.
RZBOX supports up to 64GB of SO-DIMM DDR4-3200 memory and ships with 512 GB of NVMe M.2 drive. It can further be extended with a secondary M.2 slot.
The RZBOX with 5800H will not cost more than 4900H model, it still has the MSRP of 699 USD. Additionally, the company promises to launch low-end models with 6-core Ryzen 4 4600H or 5600H in the future.
