ASUS is finally ready to start selling the PN80, a mini-PC that the company introduced in January. For some reason, ASUS only offers the PN80 with the Core i7-11700B, a Tiger Lake processor with 8 cores, 16 threads, a 4.8 GHz boost clock and a 65 W TDP. Also, the Core i7-11700B contains UHD Graphics for 11th Gen Intel Processors that can boost to 1.45 GHz when needed.
Additionally, the ASUS PN80 comes with 8 GB, 16 GB or 32 GB of DDR4-3200 RAM, along with PCIe 3.0 and PCIe 4.0 slots for NVMe SSDs. Moreover, ASUS has included two 2.5-inch drive bays for larger SSDs/HDDs, which all manage to fit within a 200 x 200 x 60 mm chassis. According to ASUS, the PN80 weighs 2.5 kg with two 2.5-inch HDDs installed, for reference.
Furthermore, the ASUS PN80 has optional 2 W stereo speakers and a modem that supports Bluetooth 5 and WiFi 6 connectivity. The PN80 will be orderable from later this month in the US for US$1,299 and for CAD$1,599 in Canada. All ASUS PN80 configurations come with the following ports too:
