The AndaSeat Jungle 2 Series Chair functions well for both office work and gaming, though the chair does have some notable design flaws.
The AndaSeat Jungle 2 Series Gaming/Office Chair is a comfortable and versatile chair, able to serve as both a sturdy office chair and relaxing gaming platform. The optional retractable footrest can also increase the Jungle 2’s comfort as a gaming chair, though it serves no real purpose in an office setting. The new AndaSeat gaming chair is also a bit tough to assemble, with some unclear instructions and large pieces making for an unexpectedly complicating experience.
The AndaSeat Jungle 2 features more than a dozen different parts, and the owner’s manual does clearly label these segments. However, many of the pieces themselves are not labeled, which can lead to some confusion between similar parts like the armrests and side covers. The manual does include visual aids, which help tremendously, but users should be careful not to switch up different parts of the chair. The AndaSeat Jungle 2 also features some large pieces, particularly the seat and backrest, which are much more easily assembled by a group of people than an individual.
Like other compact AndaSeat gaming chairs, once fully assembled the AndaSeat Jungle 2 serves well as a casual office chair. The stylish black design helps the chair fit into any home office or gaming room, regardless of surrounding decor. The five-legged base makes the Jungle 2 incredibly stable, and the five wheels allow for smooth movement around a desk or across a room. Pillows provide users with lumbar and head support, allowing for comfort during long stretches of work, and handles easily allow for the adjustment of both the chair’s height and the height of the armrests. However, the head pillow’s positioning may not be ideal for tall users, and the difference between the plush chair and its plastic arm rests is definitely jarring. The AndaSeat Jungle 2 features narrow arm rests made of a hard plastic material, and these would certainly be more comfortable if they were made wider and used the softer material of the chair itself.
A large handle lets users recline the AndaSeat Jungle 2, turning it into a very effective gaming platform comparable to other AndaSeat pro gaming chairs. The five stable legs help users feel secure even if they recline back as far as possible, and the adjustable armrest and chair heights can help any gamer find a comfortable position based on their setup.
The Jungle 2’s footrest is presented as an optional addition, but the accessory can make a very dramatic difference for gamers. Reclining the upper body while the lower body sits normally can be uncomfortable, so propping the feet up is practically a necessity to achieve a comfortable body angle. The AndaSeat Jungle 2 pivots easily, too, which comes in handy for both maneuvering a tight office and finding a perfect angle toward the TV.
As either an office essential or a gaming luxury comparable to Razer gaming chairs, the AndaSeat Jungle 2 delivers comfort and efficiency. Head and lumbar support can make long sessions of work or gaming much more manageable, and the chair’s wide base provides plenty of stability.
The AndaSeat Jungle 2 is available now on the official AndaSeat website. AndaSeat provided Screen Rant with an AndaSeat Jungle 2 Gaming/Office Chair for the purpose of this review.
