He purchased his initial stake in the South London club for roughly £87.5 million in 2021 and became a director and fourth partner of the Eagles.<br>The opportunity could present itself soon for Textor, with two of Palace’s co-owners, David Blitzer and Josh Harris, reportedly interested in selling their shares. The latter is part of a consortium bidding for Chelsea FC that includes businessman Vivek Ranadive and former Liverpool FC chairman Martin Broughton<strong>.</strong><br>Manchester City is collaborating with lifestyle, gaming, media platform FaZe Clan by launching a merchandise pop-up event in Manchester, featuring some of FaZe Clan’s most popular members and Manchester City talent.<br>The event will take place at City Square at the Etihad Stadium and will open from 2pm on 9th April. It will feature a range of gaming activations, prize giveaways, meet &amp; greets and much more.<br>Broadcasters will show every single match of the 2022 Women’s Six Nations rugby union championship in participating countries for the first time, as part of a wider effort to boost the profile and coverage of the women’s tournament.<br>The coverage will begin this season with the current roster of broadcast partners all having committed to showing all matches on either their television or digital platforms. This includes France Televisions, the BBC and S4C in the UK, Ireland’s RTE and Virgin Media TV, and Sky Italia.<br>UK-based e-sports brand Fnatic has confirmed four new senior hires to meet demand of commercial opportunities and capitalise on digital growth.<br>Craig Edmondson, previously Head of Marketing &amp; Commercial for the Premier League and CEO Esports at Zwift, joins as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). Nicola Packer joins as General Counsel following her tenure at EXTREME. Laura Ashworth-Cape joins as Head of Legal following four years as Legal Counsel at Arsenal F.C and Joshua Brill, previously Head of Creative &amp; Commercial at Viacom CBS, joins as Head of Marketing.<br>Brentford FC Community Sports Trust and Worley, the global engineering company, has united to form a new partnership to promote and deliver an educational programme combining science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics (STEAM).<br>The programme will include school-based STEAM projects, events at the Trust’s new social, education and health hub, career workshops and a STEAM summer school. As the Official STEAM Partner, the Worley brand will also be visible at Brentford Community Stadium, with LED perimeter boards providing global exposure at first team matches.<br>Independent global branding agency Dragon Rouge has appointed Luke Nicholson, the former Brand and Content Director at Southampton FC, as it looks to further develop its growing reputation and relationships within the sports arena.<br>The move reflects Dragon Rouge’s strong intent to build on its already strong portfolio in sports and entertainment brands, having previously worked with brands such as PSG, Roland Garros, Genius Sports and Maikai.
