Riot Games Raise $5.4 Million For Humanitarian Efforts – ClutchPoints

Developer Riot Games (VALORANT, League of Legends, etc.) has raised a total of $5.4 million from Battle Pass proceeds from their games and the League of Legends Bee skin line. The raised amount will go towards humanitarian efforts in Eastern Europe.

They also provided a breakdown:
$1.8 million goes to the International Medical Corps, who “is expanding its relief efforts inside Ukraine in response to the war there, as well as in neighboring countries, to provide medical, mental health and protection services to the millions of people affected by the conflict, including refugees.”
Another $1.8 million will go to the Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders. The MSF is “is stepping up its medical humanitarian response to the deepening humanitarian crisis in Ukraine and in neighboring countries, where more than 3.6 million refugees have fled.”
The final $1.8 million will be going to the International Committee of the Red Cross, who are aiming to “help more than 3 million people access clean water and improve the living conditions of more than 66,000 whose homes have been damaged by heavy fighting.”
This was the culmination of Riot Games’ efforts to donate all Battle Pass proceeds from all of their games (VALORANT, Wild Rift, Legends of Runeterra, and Teamfight Tactics) as well as the Bee skins from League of Legends.
