Según confirmó el insider DuskGolem (conocido por sus filtraciones de Resident Evil) luego de que el sitio Video Game Chronicles publicara información pertinente, KONAMI estaría trabajando versiones remasterizados de los primeros tres Metal Gear Solid se lanzarían para PC (Steam) y consolas varias. Los tres títulos se harían disponibles en forma individual, como también en un paquete junto con las versiones de MSX de Metal Gear 1 y Metal Gear 2.
Además, el sitio VGC menciona que un remake de Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater está en desarrollo por el estudio chino Virtuos. Si bien no hay nada confirmado sobre su posible anuncio y/o lanzamiento, se estima que ya sea los remasters de MGS 1-3 y/o remake de MGS3, se podrían anunciar tanto en la Tokyo Game Show 2022 entre el 15 y 18 de septiembre, como también en The Game Awards 2022 el 8 de diciembre.
Esta remasterización de la trilogía no debe confundirse con Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, una colección remasterizada en HD de los videojuegos Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater y Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, que se lanzó para las plataformas PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 y PlayStation Vita.

(2/2) heard about it), I've had it from an 100% source and not. The plan is to release the three remasters seperately, but also together as a collection (where also get the MSX versions of Metal Gear 1+2 if buy together). Just chiming in there, that is something coming.
