Firefly EC-R3568PC is a compact rugged mini PC powered by Rockchip RK3568 SoC with a built-in 1 TOPS AI accelerator, up to 8GB RAM, 128GB flash, M.2 NVMe and SATA 3.0 storage, dual Gigabit Ethernet, HDMI 2.0 output, RS232 and RS485 interfaces through an RJ45 socket, and more.
The fanless embedded computer is designed to be wall-mounted, and operates in a wide -20°C – 60°C temperature range making it suitable for smart NVR, cloud terminal, IoT gateway, and industrial control applications.

EC-R3568PC specifications:
Firefly EC-R3568PC
EC-R3568PC rugged mini PC supports Android 11.0, Ubuntu 20.04, Station OS, or a minimal Linux image with Qt built with buildroot. If the specifications look familiar, it’s because Firefly appears to have reused the same board as found in Station P2 mini PC.  The main, and possibly the only difference, is the rugged metal case with fins and wall-mounting openings that makes it more suitable for more challenging environments. Somehow the NPU performance was rounded up from 0.8 TOPS to 1 TOPS, unless a new variant of the processor is used. Another potential difference is that wide voltage input is not mentioned for the Station P2, while EC-R3568PC supports 9V to 24V input.
There’s no wiki for EC-R3568PC rugged RK3568 mini PC yet, but it will run the same software as Station P2, and you can find all resources on P2’s Wiki. The product page has more details, but no pricing information for now. For reference, Firefly Station P2 is sold for $189 with 2GB RAM and 32GB eMMC flash, and I’d expect EC-R3568PC to be a few dollars more.
